Ink valve-activated marker
Traditional markers store ink using a sponge in the barrel, whereas Valve Technology allows direct use of liquid ink. Pressing on the nib opens up the valve, causing ink to flow from the barrel. Damaged nibs can be replaced, increasing lifespan. Ink valve-activated markers are popular for marking paper and cardboard materials.
